A cross-platform wishlist application with shared business logic and UI components across web and mobile platforms. Users can create wish lists, manage gifts, share lists with friends and family, and track their wishes across devices.
Our Solution
Built a monorepo architecture with Next.js web app and Expo mobile app sharing UI components via react-native-web. Implemented user tier system with different feature levels, PostgreSQL database with Prisma ORM, and Supabase authentication. Created shared packages for UI components, React hooks, and business logic to ensure consistency across platforms.
Results
Delivered a fully functional cross-platform wishlist application with 80% code reuse between web and mobile, consistent user experience, and scalable architecture supporting multiple user tiers and features.
